Has anyone tried RC-BEARINGS.COM bearings? I just ordered a set of stainless steel bearings for my hyper 50. Wondering how was your luck with them?

I would not pay to high a price for motor bearings, they will go bad just about as fast.

RC-Bearings is as good a source as any. However, it has been well documented here over and over that the standard bearings are about as good or better than any of the "better" bearings whether they be stainless, extra super duper precision or ceramic.

Rc-bearings is great. I usually order one complete set and 4-5 rears singly. I think the rears only are $3-4. I just order the correct size leave a note telling him they are for an engine, and he sends the correct plastic retainer type.

Sometimes you're paying a fair price for a fair product.

If you follow the rule every 70 tanks change them, its ok.

But really what is better.
To pay some big $$ for smthng really good?
Or have always new smooth bearings every 70 tanks?

You candidate buyer, can only give the answer...including me also.

RC Bearings is great. Never had a problem with them. As for buying stainless with ceramic balls...stick with the standard steel bearings. The SS/Ceramic balls don't last any longer than the standard stuff.

You guys might consider the new center glide bearing from magnumfuels. It's a one time installation you will never have to buy any more regular bearings again.

smoother running, Quiter sounding.

There is no fuel restrictions on the lifetime warranty run whatever fuel you want.

I have over 40gals on mine that's close to 10 cases of the magnum DS30.

You will have to call for any additional info on the bearing, it's only the rear bearing.

I stopped counting at about 100 flights on my Magnum bearing and have them in a O.S. 91 and a hyper 50. The bearing "issues" are a thing of the past for me. I havent changed a bearing in over a year now.

Hey dirthead,

I think you have the old style ball bearings. These are the not the same bearing as those. These are the new style and type.
