I was wondering if anyone had any experience comparing Aftermarket Main Blades ( like form HobbyKIng) VS Name Branded MAin Blades (like Edge or Align etc...) The price is very attractive to me.

Depends of your flying style. I suggest you try many different blades and you will finally find a kind you like.

due to being laid off i am trying the hobbyking TURNIGY MAIN BLADES 700MM and i like them they act much like the maviricks g5 and auto like a dream to. but i dont do hard 3d and i fly mild aerobatics and they are very stiff, cosmetically flawed but not a big issue. at only 40 bucks versus 100 bucks

It really depends where you're at. If you're just getting in to it or just flying around then the cheap ones are a great economic option. Once you get to a point in your flying where you require some stiff, well balanced symmetrical blades that track well and have good pop, then you will want to go for the name brands. I like Edge, Mavrikk, Radix and Align blades.

I have to say, I've used aftermarket blades from 325mm up to 710mm and to be honest, if you are just starting out, you'll probably never notice the difference.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised, if 3/4 of the aftermarket ones come off the same manufacturing line as the name brands. Only difference might be the finish on them or some other stupid reason why they could not sell them as the "originals". Remember, most (if not all) of this stuff comes from the land of the slanted eye (not meant in a derogatory way)

If it ain't broke, go fly some more!
