Well I got tired of the two cycle engine making a mess and shaking the helicopter to death. I dumped the nitro engine, replaced it with a Scorpion 4035-400kv motor, and a Castle Creations HV85 on ten cells. The helicopter now has no vibrations, it sounds awsome, and no mess to clean up. I made the motor mount from scrap sheet metal from a Sikorsky 58T. The sheet metal is thin, but strong as hell, specially since I put two of them sandwiched together. It's not your typical sheet metal you pick up at a local hardware store. Here is the test video on it's 4th test flight. So far no issues with anything.

That's what I'm talking about.

I am trying to do the same (a few threads back) to a similar Vario helicopter.

Good job.

Nice job. It even sounds like a real helicopter. No more annoying smoke, noise, vibration, and sound.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
