installed system on 600n, upon spoolup, pitch servo would drop out violently. cost me a set of blades, tail boom torque tube, and much frustration.

changed the mounting tape an probl;em went away but new problem arose. after heli is in the air, it has a hard drift to the left. (enough that if not corrected it would do an axile roll.).

moved unit from gyro tray to side or reciver mount and side drift went away. new problem ia now the tail drifts hard left rudder to the point that you have to hold about 3/8 right to keeping it from spinning.

help

DONT TRASH WHAT THE OTHER GUY IS FLYING OR FLYING WITH. AT LEAST HE IS FLYING!!!

The manual states that what you are describing can be caused by vibration.

I had a problem with my 700N drifting on the aileron axis, and rolling on collective punch outs and it turned out to be a bad 8717. FBL is hard on servos you need good ones and any problems with the servos will be aggrevated by flying them with FBL.

I would check your heli for vibration and check the servos, it could even be a combination of both.

Yep, weigh and balance everything that spins or rotates. I've used different tapes but on my heli's they seem to like the 3M grey tape or the stock white BeastX tape with either a ziptie covered in glow fuel tubing or a velcro strap over the Orange box to help secure it.

I've run the Beast X on elec, glow, and gas heli's with great results.
