Would like to hear from some gasser pilots on what FBL stabilization system they are using, and how it is working out. I had thought about the Futaba CGY750, but it won't currently work with my JR X9303 system. How about Skookum SK-720 vs. Mikado vs. BeastX vs. Total G? I need it for a Radikal G30 FBL.

Very happy with both the SK720 and the TotalG. Fantastic tail feel to both, and both have a great range of adjustment. In terms of "feel" in the air doing middle of the road 3D, I like the Total G better by a tiny bit. For setup and tuning I like the SK720 better. Plus both support satellites for binding to your 9303

The CGY750 has the best vibration immunity but you need to use slightly softer mounting tape than comes with the sensor.

Most systems will work if you find a low vibration spot on to mount them and keep them away from the engine. I also fly SK720, which is a great system but needs a low vibration environment.

Best is to just weight for the CGY adapter. It is suppose to be out in May.

I don't believe that the CGY is the only fbl unit that handles vibration well!
I currently run the TotalG units on two of my heli's (50 and 90 nitro's) and one had a nasty vibration that I couldn't find and the TotalG just performed as it should with no adverse effects!
There is another flyer in this region who flys BeastX exclusively on his big gassers that plug away like diesels and he has no issues at all which just goes to show that it is all about setup!

I use thin (2mm) automotive body trim tape and tightly wrap the unit with velcro but the supplied tape works just as well!

Governor Included
Actually, I failed to mention that I need a unit which also incorporates a governor.....so it looks like the field is narrowed to the Futaba CGY750, the Youngblood Total G, the Mikado V-Bar 5.1 Pro or the Skookum SK-720. Did I forget any other possibilities that fit the bill?

I don't have a gasser, but simply following this thread. I'm curious if the responders so far are relating their experiences with a gasser, since that's what the OP requested. NitroAl is the only one who referenced the heli type.

Helimech- BTW, I'm a proud member of your Signature Line.
