Well "IF" they are in fact different sizes or shapes, THEN certainly a fantastic option to the EC5s for sure. ...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Each PRC6 housing looks like it has a male & female barrel. And they show the corresponding male & female bullet for each. I don't like this as you can accidently plug 2 lipos into each other! The original Turnigy red bullets look like these but longer. A mate plugged in 2 lipos together & scared us all with the huge bang it made. 2 of the bullets vaporised & his hands were covered in black soot. Luckily he only suffered a mild burn. I then told him to get EC5s & he did!
I've been using EC5's for awhile now and they work fine. Only negative is they seem to get harder and harder to separate as time goes on. I've tried silicone spray, didn't really work.

Any other suggestions for loosening them up just a bit?
Ah, that explains why the new EC5s I just used slide together easier than the old ones I have/reused. To make it easier to separate them I cut in half the blue housings for the lipos with a heavy duty knife & cleaned up. Left the ESC & charge lead housings as they are. This is also handy that you can plug in everything except one bullet which you then plug in before flying!

Battery and device housings are the same just like the HXT 4mm bullets. So yes, they can be plugged in wrong as you put it. For example you can plug 2 batteries directly together.- Chris

Two batts is the only possible combo which we wouldn't want to do, but if we watch what we are doing that won't happen...the fact that they are universal housings make them very convenient, I had to get used to it, but it's cool once I did.
