Hi all, I bought my dx7 new and never cared for the trainer connection also never noticed it until now that I tried using it with reflex and there's no plug for the cable. Do I have to install the plug myself or is this something horizon can take care of? Any thoughts or inputs would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric.

Do you mean DX7se? It does not have the jack and one cannot be installed. The only option to connect to a sim is to use one of the wireless solutions (like the SimStick). If you really did mean the DX7, the jack is right there on the back of the tX.

One of the drawbacks of the 11ms response time, no trainer jack.

Did you try to plug cord in or drop at some time , that port is a fixed plug so I'm interested to see what you find .

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

I'm sure it's dangling inside. It's a keyed type of plug that is held in place by the back cover, so I'm sure it was a slight oversight at the factory.

The lower right of the rear should look like this:

If the hole is about the size of an earphone jack - that is right. If the hole is about 1/4 inch - oops, something is missing.

By the way does anyone happen to have the file for reflex? I have vista and the darn thing doesn't want to install. I read you can install it to an xp but i have no clue where i could find an xp right now...
