Continued from this post since I was advised to take it here: https://rc.runryder.com/t641725p1/

I was not discussing anything like an open forum, only adding to the sale with technical information like was done before me with other guys adding pictures of the airframe which were not even the one for sale. Why can they add to the sale but not me? Has the classifieds come to a point where withholding technical information is ok just to make a sale?

If the technical information given caused the loss of a sale, then the airframe caused the loss of the sale itself.

hollywood3160, Please pm Mark, I did not add anything negative about the seller or the airframe in particular, only a technical point and even gave it a praise for its durability. While you are at it please add me to your ignore list cause you're the only one calling names here.

That's a tuff call there. Sounds like you were trying to help the buyers but obviously it didn't help the seller. I guess buyers really need to do their research before they buy.

IMO, yes. It is a public forum and one designed to give hobbyist more information anywhere on this forum. For me, it was a personal experience when I bought the airframe and for me it is a piece of information I wish I would've had when I bought it many many years ago. I did not bash the seller or his item in general, but gave a technical piece of advise that is hard to find.

Thank you MoneyPitVictim, nice to see someone who understands where I was coming from. I had the knowledge and experience to give buyers more insight on the airframe and I just felt that I would give that experience on a public form without any bashing or personal negativity. I even gave a praise on the airframe cause it did prove very durable and it a nice airframe for the most part. No doubt in my mind if the bellcrank design was better and I could have gotten more pitch without binding, then I would have certainly kept mine flying.

Did you sell yours, or do you still have it? If you sold it did you tell the buyer it was defective? That is a defect isn't it?

Still have just the airframe and misc pieces, I parted it out individually (the Raptor parts) I tried to sell the airframe a while ago telling buyers the technical issue of why I was selling.

continued response from here https://rc.runryder.com/t641725p2/
to keep discussion out of the classifieds.

really, again with the keep the info hush hush to make a sale? round and round we go here.

With the car thing, sure go ahead a do it! No one is stopping you and if some guy is selling a vehicle you had a technical issue with, would you just stand there and say nothing and let someone get something they did not know fully about.

Hopefully, the buyer does research, but going up and saying something will save them the time and or possibly buying something they actually didn't want to buy!

If I was privy to a transaction where I could speak to buyers about a technicality I experienced with the product, I would do it in a heartbeat, it is something I would want done for me! Why do you think yelp and other sites do so well, because people can share their information on products.

It's still a public forum and at the end of the day and I helped buyers, of course the sellers gonna be mad at me. One to want to punch in the face and many to pat me on the back and thanks for giving them insight into their purchase.

I did not trash the product, I did not say it was junk, I did not say it was unusable, I simply pointed out a technical fact about the model which may or may not hinder a buyer. The airframe itself made itself lose a sale.

Funny how its "none of my d@@m business" when plenty others not associated with the sale was responding with pictures of not even correct Xero G airframe. Lol.

"I did not trash the product, I did not say it was junk, I did not say it was unusable"

Actually, you did when you said you had the same airframe in your junk bin. You later edited that out. A lot of the beef was with your original wording. You were calling it junk. Technical info would have involved max pitch and cyclic in degrees, not where you keep your airframe.

It's one thing to crap on another guy's sale, but at least rchelichop didn't wait until someone else posted an "I'm interested" in the for-sale thread, and then rchelichop sent a PM to the potential buyer saying "You don't want to buy that since it is no good". That would be much worse.

I didn't say 'junk' bin. I just said bin. That could mean a storage bin, which it actually is.I was basically stating a technical limitation that I found with the airframe which I figure would be helpful information for anyone looking at that airframe because it would've been helpful information for me to know before I bought the airframe myself.

I stated it was in the bin because the limitation was enough for me to retire it at the time, that is not inflammatory or derogatory to the airframe, just was a technical limitation call.

The worst thing I did in my original wording was state what type of flying the airframe was best for in my experience. I have seen people say that in classifieds post all the time.
