Has anyone burned out a main motor yet? If so, how long did it go?

I'm worried when the main motor goes it COULD take the board with it. .

Interesting
128 views and not a peep about main motor issues.

I guess the MCPX has a really good main motor!

Wow
I'm sorry you're not happy with yours.

I love mine with a passion. It has transformed my RC helicopter hobby in a BIG way.

Amazing, really.

Got a second MCPx and noticed a difference in head speed.
I've been flying my first mcpx for 2-3 months about 100 flights per week and recently needed a new 3-in-1 board and couldn't wait for it to arrive so I got a spare mcpx, using same batts, the new one has noticeable higher head speed, bogs less and handles better. I use the same transmitter settings and everything else is identical.

I ordered 2 motors so I can replace the one in the original and have a spare on hand. I didn't notice the gradual change in head speed until flying the new one. It could be something else changed in the new one, both boards show rev 3.9 and I can't tell anything else different.

I sent mine into Horizon. It's latest issue is that it continually oscillates the whole flight. The helicopter has a lot of potential, and I wonder if there are different versions of the helicopter out there (some better than others).

Burned my motor yesterday after at least 300 flights. This heli is a real flying tank...
