So, out of curiosity, if one was to stretch a 600 airframe to 12s 700, what is currently the most powerful motor on the planet relative to overall horse power?

For those of you flying a 700 logo, what are your hp peaks, wattage peaks, and amperage peaks and with what pinion and main gear?

48 views and noones even offered an opinion??

Actro Helimax 32/3 555kv. I have two and they hammer even on my 800 ENV

More realistically, prolly one of MR Powercroco`s motors.

These measurements are to take with a grain of salt

High readings can mean excessive head speed and bad collective management.

I found that what make ''apparent'' power is stable head speed.

With the same motor you can notice quite a difference between setup.

Batteries internal resistance and ESC are not to be neglected.

The Rm (windings resistance)on the chosen motor must be as low as possible this way you will get less rpm decay for a given load.

Use the highest Kv that your setup allow. I suggest you dont go below 12T for the pinion.

Mrmel tried many different motors and found that you can go too big with motor which is obvious but still need to be kept in mind.

Keep also in mind that absorbed power (our readings) are not the output power which can be only 75% of the readings

That said, it seem that KDE 1917, Scorpion 4525 are really powerfull

If it's a logo airframe, you will strip the one way clutch on the mainshaft and maingear as well

This airframe wont be reliable with anything more that a excellent Kontronik Pyro 700-45.

dang.

may have to go with a true 12s machine down the road like the ballistic perhaps to swing long blades.

that and a neu 1917 sounds about right.
