mins, hours...days...weeks.. have passed and it seems like all the mcp x in the world have been sold out i recently ordered through amainhobbies as they offer international shipping. havent received any email from them yet regarding new stocks..

any idea guys? now looking at ebay to see if anyone is selling it.
the point is , i feel like i am being deprived of the fun of this heli, after all the good reviews that i've seen here.

itching to buy one!

GrandRC.com had them in stock as of yesterday in their retail shop. Maybe you can get it through them.

Grand R/C has them. There are plenty of other helis I'm sure you could derive some fun from even if they're gone now.

I had recently spoken to a horizon hobby cs rep about a replacement rotor head since there's a recall on them. He told me the hobby shops need to install the newer rotor heads on the kits before selling them and horizon put a stop sell on them until its done...

It's prudent to go through any prebuilt heli yourself anyway so I wouldnt get too twisted about someone else monkeying with it first.

Oh man, a pet peave. Honestly, how hard did you really work for that money? That phrase is sooo overused. But, I digress. Sealed package or not, you sould be disassembling the heli and going through it. I take it you are not? These things are notorious for not being assembled as precisely as we would if we built it and threadlock doesn't seem available in many Chinese factories.

Why does it seem hard to get a mcp x?!
Because everybody watched the video and had to buy two.
I'm glad got to test one out. That was my deciding factor of not buying one.
I'll stay with e-flite planx.

No im dumb and expect everything to be perfect outta the box. Youve just never been to my LHS and never want to. As far as money is concerned i dont pay bills just to buy heli stuff so i want the peice of mind. Anyway back to the topic

Cool. Do they offer international shipping?

Oh! maybe that is the reason why my LHS has no stock then. just called them up and they said stocks are coming on the end of this month..looks like i don't have time to fly when my internship is up next week..

I saw a deal on eBay and i just bid on it, who knows if its meant to be mine ( Highest bidder so far !) , then i wouldn't mind taking it, if not then i'll just wait till my lhs restocks or maybe look for international online shops who have available stocks and reasonable shipping costs.

after being put on the waiting list for one I was contacted by my LHS in Sacramento CA. They did exactly what Horizon requested by all vendors. they replaced the head unit with the new model. I was called and asked if I wanted it , I'm not worried about having them remove and replace a head unit, it worked out just fine for me. I have what I wanted. Does it really matter if they (the HS) do the replacement. If you cant trust your LHS , I wouldn't do business with them .
