Evening guys,

Well I have decided to "change up" my Furion for this flying season. After about 20-25 crashes and thousands of flights, its time to change it up. This machine has held up great! The plastic canopy is still in service, though not with the original windshield What I've decided to do is convert it to flybarless. I'm going with the Helicommand X-Base system, Airtronics 94809 cyclic servos, Futaba Bls257 tail servo, Scorpion -6 motor and Castle Ice lite 50. Also I'm going to use the new R6203 S.bus receiver. I'm planning on mounting the Helicommand up front under the battery tray, the receiver on the bottom of the battery tray, and the esc in the back. Stay tuned for pictures

Another option for FBL conversion is to use the stock grips by removing the mixing arms and install one of the long balls to the grips directly. For a swash driver I believe the Mikado is a drop in fit. One of the guys at our field went this route with excellent results with a Mini V-Bar so I would expect it will work very well with other FBL units.

I used the stock head. removed all the flybar stuff redrilled the mainshaft 10mm lower. I used the stock washout modified to be the swashplate driver, secured it to the bottom of the headblock. I will post so pics. later.
