90% of all bad deals are on runryder, its not my fault.
i can honestly say i have read my share of people getting ripped off on runryder.
Where did you do your study to get that number?

Most "bad deals" are likely crooked buyers trying to get over on the seller and aren't able to.

I have only one bad deal made here.
I sold a FBL unit and 6 months later the buyer started hassling me and said it didn't work.
During the time he had it,he even had it listed for sale on another heli and stated that it did work in the ad.

I refunded him and took the unit back.
Sure enough,it didn't work but I'm sure it did when I first had it.
He returned it to me C.O.D. and made me pay the fees for that.
Align repaired it free and I tried it,and sold it cheap.Again...
The third owner is as happy with it as I'm sure the second owner was until be broke it.

I won't sell here now.
It's the buyers that are usually the bad guy.
Just because someone says they got ripped off as a buyer, that doesn't mean it's true. They are usually trying to get more than they paid for and try to extort the seller.

I literally never use the word literally right.

mckrackin,

the posts iv`e read doesnt always have both sides involved, so some are a one topic convo.
some forums have a scammer section, all most all these posts (believe it or not) have runryder as the site they were scammed on.

i dont take sides, so my (study) so to say after over three years is all inclusive. i have seen both types of what you are saying, seller being scammed and buyer being scammed.

but to be fair, most of the deals involved sellers asking for payment as a gift.
now if the buyer is the one ripped off, he has no recourse.

if a buyer decides to use the gift option for payment, then he/she should assume all responsibilities for that transaction.

i know a guy that is as honest as the day is long, he too had a buyer swear up and down he didnt get what he paid for.
this cat started a flaming thread over this deal just because there was a scratch on a item.
there well always be people like this, its just some peoples nature to try and get something for nothing.
the ones like this will pay 50 bucks for a 300 dollar item and swear they got screwed.

"mike,
if you find my statement as a personal attack, then maybe you need to rethink who you are as a person.
i have a clean conscience, do you?"

You know nothing about me or my trading practices here and on other sites. I sleep very well at night and have nothing to hide. I'm up front on all my transactions. Just who the hell are you to call me a "scumbag thief"?

Use personal payment tab and nobody gets charged a fee.......

When using the 'Send Money' tab, customers will be presented with the
two different options to send either a Purchase payment or a Personal
payment.

Fees for Personal Payments are now charged as follows: Payment funded
with PayPal balance or bank account: PayPal will not charge sender or
recipient regardless of their account type

Payment funded with a debit or credit card: PayPal will apply the 2.9%
plus $0.30 for the receiving fees. Therefore, Personal account holders
may incur PayPal receiving fees. Please note however that the sender has
the option of paying the fees for that payment instead of the recipient.

For Purchases/Commercial Payments there will be fees applied whenever
you received a payment. The recipient of funds will always be charged
the normal receiving fees (or merchant rates for approved merchants
reaching the minimum volumes) which is 2.9% plus $0.30.

mckrackin,

you can act like a 5 year old with the name calling all you want.

usually people who resort to this type of behavior dont have the smarts to know how to speak on a subject.
so far, nothing you have said in this thread is even close to factual.
but now after reading your comments, i can see why.
this is why you have been kicked off of two forums that i know of.
when you have a adult thought, lets us know?
just keep being you, people will see who you are.

Who's the one wanting to follow threads with the sole purpose of causing problems for the OP?
I believe you made that threat.

Who is the tattle tail?
That would be you.

Scumbag thief? Is that not name calling?

Take a good look at yourself before calling anyone else out.

What you can't read your own post? Pretty plain tome.

mckrackin your right,
calling a thief a scumbag is name calling and a little harsh.
so i did start the name calling, my bad.

at the same time, i didnt make this personal.

again mike,
i havent said mike you are a scumbag thief, i know what i posted.

you put yourself in my statement.

if you are doing honest business here, why are you crying over my statements that has nothing to do with honest traders?
no other honest trader on RR has taken what i said and thought i was talking about them, why is that?
after a 1000 views, you and mckrackin are the only ones.

Honestly this whole thread is a joke. I just had some time to kill. I do appreciate your acknowledging the "scumbag thief" was out of line. As far as I'm concerned the has run it's course.

mike,
yes, calling a thief, a scumbag is name calling.
but i think a thief has worse things to worry about than being called a scumbag.
you said you ad the fees to your price, theres nothing wrong with that.
asking 22 dollars for a item you would have sold for 20 dollars in order to cover fees is legit.

paying for a item through the gift option is just to risky for the buyer.
its a shame, that most ripoffs have come from sales asking to be paid as gift.

if a person is honest and intentions are legit, then why ask to be paid through the gift option?

Who are you calling a thief then?
You cast a blanket statement like you did to piss people off.
That is obvious.
Funny thing is,I don't fall into the parameters of that statement but it's me you seem to have a personal problem with. Why is that?

How is it any of your business?
Why would you want to report anyone for anything?

Grow up dude.Seriously.

Such babies)
which i didnt respond to, then i answered some question from you.
never once said anything to you or mike or called either of you a scumbag thief.

never once said anything out of line until you like always went with calling names.

remember your little miss paypal thing, this is when you got what you wanted.

My comments are replies to childish threats made by you.

"I'll just start reporting everybody for sport"...

"I'll follow all you for sale threads and take pictures to send to paypal"....

Crap like that triggered anything I have to say.

Where do I work?
How many shipping places do I pass?

You don't know do you....

I don't pass any places to ship.
I live waaay out in the country.
It's a 20 mile drive for anything I do or want.

I also don't have a bunch of crap laying around my house.
You need to clean your home.
You have boxes laying around to ship a Trex 600 assembled?

I'm not an efficient shipper.
Hey wait,I'm not a shipper PERIOD.
Just someone who has sold something I didn't need.
I am in the same exact position you are. Same drive time, same boonies. I am not saying you need too live like I do, and no I don't need to clean my house. We have boxes broken down and stored because we do ship a lot of stuff. Xmas is a horror of packing tape and cardboard around here so we keep every box we get and use them later. Living in the boonies causes a person to either become more efficient or continue to make things harder than they need to be on themselves. again, not saying you need to live like me, but I don't have to pay for your lack of efficiency either.

I concede that if a person doesn't ship a lot of things they don't need a UPS store in their house, but if you do know you are going to ship something, there are ways to make it easier on yourself. But I don't know your situation. Saying a buyer should pay for your time and gas and all that is nonsense. That is the cost of doing private commerce. Heck, if we have to follow that logic then my time/gas spent driving that 20 miles to the post office to pick up that package has equal value so who compensates me? No one, because that is the price of private commerce.
