Hi guys:

I would like to hear opinions about these two helis. They are really cheap to buy and fix.

Too good to be true?

Can they take hard 3D?

Thanks.

I'm flying the frenzy fifty this season and all I can say is this is a cool intro to the .50 class helicopters. Flies great and has a great presence in the air. Heli is well laid out and very easy to work on also. A-main offers great support for both helis.

I'm flying a few raptor and align bits. After these changes the heli is nice and reliable.

I do try to throw it around which isn't the wildest and it handles it fine.

Wouldn't hesitate at all to fly the Frenzy 50 hard. I've built one and it's very nice, regardless of how inexpensive it is. I don't know anything about the Vision 50 other than past discussions suggesting that support might be somewhat limited?

I too fly the Frenzy 50. I can tell you that for the price the kit is extremely nice. Comes with an all metal head. Only thing that really needs to be upgraded right away is the swash plate. It comes with a plastic one but they do make a metal swash plate. From the clutch all the way back to the tail is all Raptor design. The rest of the design is all Frenzy. The canopy resemble a Vibe 50 but that is where the similarities stop.
Heli flies great and track nice and straigt. I don't fly any hard smack down 3d but it will take it for sure. The head can be setup for mild flying or aggresive 3d. I would go with the Frenzy. You just can't beat it at all.

Carpe Diem!!!
