I just ordered 2 new v-bar systems. Is there any thing special I need to know before I start the instalation?

do they come with a power switch?

I am installing them in a n9 and a velocity 50
they both have a 2s setup running 8717 on swash and throttle and the 9256 on the tail
any help would be appreciated

Power switch? It's powered off your regulator.

I just ordered new one myself and I wonder since there are two ports for spectrum satellite, is this means that you can use it as receiver? like total G?

No, it means the Total G acts like a Vbar in reguards to being able to function with satelite receivers only. The VBar and Total G function as a buss bar for servo leads using satelite receivers.

I have the v-bar's out on the counter
what suggestion for a power switch?
on a nitro bird do I just use one layer of tape?
If I use the two satelite's how do I bind up the system? or will It be better just to use ar7000r.

Open up the software and follow instructions on set-up
There is a simple binding procedure (SIMPLE)
follow the step by step videos by MR MEL
I use a Futaba HD switch and a LIFE 2500 pack
of course no regulator

may be it is not a driver problem. I tried loading the software on a mac and a pc. I can not connect to the v-bar. I just assumed it was a driver problem. any suggestions

The drivers you need are on the V-Bar disk and in the Program Files(x86)\Vstabi_5\drivers folder on your computer. For Windows 7, you need to connect the V-Bar to your computer, go into Device Manager, delete the driver that autoloaded, then load the correct driver off the disk or from your computer. The drivers are also on the vstabi.de website. After replacing the driver cycle the V-Bar off/on. It will now be recognized.

Do upgrade to 5.1 Pro. It is worth the $45 IMO. Along with more programming options, the governor works better than every separate gov you can get.

Golden tip:

If you want more cyclic, adjust the agility. By no means do change the 8 degree value in the setup. I know a lot of people do this but this is very wrong! That value has nothing to do with the amount of cyclic you get. It simply tells the control loop what 8 degrees is.

I cant believe how many people arent getting this
