I always shoot for mechanical setup 1st with the swash leveler and it is a fraction off on full neg and positive but at mid fine, doesnt seem to phase it.
Zero subtrims on my 500, stock servos.

so you set the mid and there's a fraction of swash interaction at low and high points with no way to adjust it out ?

Yes he's right i noticed the same thing. No way to adjust full up or full down uneven swash. It perfect at mid stick. But the heli seems to fly great.

Without the electronics (beastx) you would need to adjust top and bottom to get true straight flight with collective, with electronics its all done for you. If you fly FLB without electronics you would need to do the top/bottom adj same as FB........
There are FBL electronics that do allow adj but they are more expensive, so for the price of the Beast X you get a affordable unit that works. If you want more then pay more. Seems very simple to me.
Why is it everybody expects everything for the lowest price....then you would complain about quality etc.
Do your research and buy the one that does what you want for the price closest to how much you can afford.

If it cannot fly on it's own, then I won't be much help....

Well to be able to level the swash low, mid ,high is not asking that much and i would think it would be a standard adjustment option but if it flighs fine with out it then i guess the point is mute.

Its irrelevant, buddy of mine set his up yesterday and called to say wow!
He had it installed and setup with one question on reciever types in a couple of hrs (1st time user).
Really is rock solid and simple on a supposedly hard to get right heli(T500).
Art at Skookum said in testing the 500 is one of the hardest to get right.
My Beast and now another fly absolutely perfect.
Im not a fanboy of any particular thing but credit where its due Beast seems to have nailed it.
There doesnt seem to be any garbage about mounting using this or that special method or wire jiggling the sensor etc, slap it on and go.
Ive owned quite a few of the other controllers.
Still love my Vbars but got 2 Beasts now and will get another for the 450.

Hence the reason i said "the point is mute" if i remember correctly, isn't that the same thing as "irrelevant" more or less ?

and did you just call me a fanboy ? i'm just asking thats all..... lol

"why? "

Because it would be nice to have. sure i believe everyone if they say
the heli flies fine without it, however just knowing that this feature
changes the way the box work and knowing it is beneficial to the fbl system, maybe barely or not measurable in flight but the difference is there nonetheless. The machine has to do more calculations and make more corrections to achieve a good result without it.

"Well to be able to level the swash low, mid ,high is not asking that much and i would think it would be a standard adjustment option"

Exactly it really isn't asking that much and YES i will pay the programmers what is due to them for bringing such an update, i already bought the beastx due to someone's recommendation, those people above who are happy with the system as is, does not need to update, i however am very willing to pay for it.

boy all tell you, i really like this setup ! the flexibility of the fg and lack of wires of the s-bus it's just plain sweet ! opps did i just say "plain" or "plane" ? lol

but like so many have said already the alarm vol sucks ! oh well if it was perfect i be highly suspicious of the system, JK lol
