If you don't have a Vbar but you have an Android phone, you can download one of the accelerometer data logging apps, strap your phone to the heli, run up the motor (don't fly it unless you hate your phone), then download that data to some sort of spreadsheet or math software and determine the frequency content.

Josh,
Can you post the screenshot? What frequencies are up when everything is running? There is also a video by MrMel on youtube on how to use it.

Also read this: http://www.vstabi.info/en/node/385

If you want to know what rpm the various peaks(Hz) represent, just hover your pointer over the top of the peak and read the rpm value is shown.

The graph also auto scales depending on the size of your peaks. You need to try and get vibe peaks down below the yellow line.

Ok after doing the analyzer and adding and removing components I am pretty sure it is the motor, which is the last thing I would ever think.it would be. This time I am going to.get the 4035-560 and run it on and see how it does. Thanks everybody.for all.the input.

Are you running the stock tail blades? Do you have a few close up pics of your tail possibly?

I'm having the same problem. I have done as Brian suggested and loosened the bearing block. Changed out the entire head(switched with my Fury 55) and the problem persists. I will try a different motor this coming weekend.

Just to confirm... there are 2 spacers which are a different thickness in the head(.50 and .73 mm). (0331 and 0840-10)

One of each go on either side of the dampeners. Although this is a very small amount potentially if you had both the thicker ones on one side or visa versa it might pose a problem with balance.

Brian from minature built my head after one of the Bladegrips had to much anodizing. I will check it though.

Thanks for the ideas.

I finally figured out why my tail was shaking/vibrating bad enough to loosen bolts and make the tail fin buzz like mad.

The auto rotaion hub was eccentric which caused major vibrations. I only replaced every component in the drivetrain to find this out!

Glad you finally found out what was causing the vibration.
Did you let Brian know so he can check some out at the factory?
