The ONLY issue i had with The NEX was the motor mount holes,i had to run a tap through them but that should be obvious when you try to bolt it in.They may have fixed this issue with the newer kits,.It is basicly a smaller version of the SG.
Same here. As with the other Vibe 50 NEX shipped to Philippines. We had the need to re-tap the engine mount. Probably a batch problem or bad tooling. I wonder which Taiwan heli factory makes these kits? or did JR put up one there.

My AUW is about 3.45 kgs. BTW, move your ball links on the outside hole on the mixing arm. This makes the heli really aggressive

It also avoid to have a lot of dangerous binding...

To my flight level the Nex is far too much agressive with the stock paddles. It was barely controlable to me. I had hard times to make nice trajectories. I changed them for the ones of the Vibe I and things are a lot better now.

I also had some oscillations on the end of autorotation. Too hard dampers. I removed the tube on the spindle and had a small improvement. Now i use Vibe I O-rings. Fits perfectly and very good behaviour. I think the stock monobloc dampers and paddles are only made for extreme 3D flight type.

You have the blades too tight,it causes the wobble.I have the stock dampners and i dont have the wobble on auto,s,This seems to be a problem with metal blade grips and hard dampners.

I hope they fixed the vibration issue. Nothing like the tail snapping off in flight.

It did track extremely well though.

My Vibe 50 has about 50 gallons on it. No tail issues and it has been beat upon by some of the best pilots out there.

Two engine mounts in 3 days and no retapping so it must have been a couple of bad ones that snuck out.

Mine had the same issue with the motor mount not being tapped properly. Everything else in the build was spot on, no issues!

DS8717, blades are not too tight at all. Just too hard dampening in my case. Maybe mine are harder than yours. Smetimes specifications are not constant. I had 70° shore o-rings ordered as parts for an Airskipper 50 that was way much harder than the 70° O-ring of the kit (unused). So... Anyway no trouble now with this O-rings.

I used the stock dampners in mine and it doesnt wobble at all, even when when i hold the heli at the bottom of a hover untill theres hardly any blade speed left.It may be your blades that are causing the problem with the wobble, they have to lead lag or they will wobble like you are talking about. Mine was fine with 603 and 623 edge blades. It autos like a 90 with the 623 blades on it,you can hold it for a lomg time in an auto and it doesnt wobble.Theres 2 new NEX's coming to the field so we will see what happens with theres.
