Thanks! Let me know where your heli is sitting please as if I am in that area I may want to chain my bike to it! lol

Personally I may opt for the shuttle bus and watch the wife and kids try to keep up while I sit in a/c.

Your posting privileges have been revoked until you understand the definition of acrobatics and learn the difference between acrobatics and aerobatics.
It was a typo,,,,'e'>>>--->'c',,,,yea, that's the ticket!! At least I got one good picture from my mistake!

I understand what you are saying about backwards flying,,,but the normal progression for newbies has them doing flips/rolls/loops/tic/tocs and even piro flips before they can fly backwards/inverted. I know that is not recommended,,,just stating my observations. The line between sport flying and 3D is about 10 feet wide and all fog!

Hey,,,will there be any plank flying at IRCHA?

What about micros? Can we fly ultra-micro planes around the primitive camping area?

Micro helis?

How long does it take for you to get there Doorman? We are leaving Montreal Quebec Canada Monday night and going to be in Muncie at around 11 am on Tuesday.

We will have 3 guys with us who have never been to IRCHA before and they are extremely anxious to see. Then we are 3 who have already been there more than 3 times.

I'm coming Tuesday and expecting to get there in the late afternoon/
I'm packing two crashed helicopters with me and I'm counting on there being a vendor that has parts.

I am kidding.

Can we set up a MCPX area by the camping area? 4 cones for a flight box. Required a spotter. No camping within 20' of the area. A 50' x50' box seems like a good area for it. In line to fly alot of first hand tips can be exchanged and I can beleive alot of people would enjoy it.

Airplanes are prohibited, but I'm bringing one anyway. Ken Jennings and I our bringing our Strykers to fly through the speed radar traps. We're both curious how fast they really go.
If you've got a 3D foamy set up for night flying no one is going to say anything.

They're will be a designated area for stuff like Trex 250s, 450s, and mcpx's.

People fly little sukhois and parkflyer stuff almost everywhere around the RVs and what not. I am hoping to bring my foamie nightflyer too (as long as I get her glued back together in time. lol)

Who said airplanes are prohibited? There are usually several in the air late in the afternoon/evening. Been flying my foamie every night at sunset since I got here last Sunday.

+1 on a mCPx area. I'm working on a Bell 47 scale conversion for mine now, hope to have it flyable today & ready for IRCHA. Then maybe it'll qualify for the scale area, lol. Andy

Inverted IS more fun!

Dang it,,,,speed trap? I forgot about that,,,and I just crashed my Stryker last night,,LOL,,go figure! I don't have time for a rebuild now.

Will there be somewhere at IRCHA where I can get access to a puter? I suppose a lot of folks will have laptops,,,I'm asking about doing programming for my 3G or VBar if needed. Will some of these vendors help with that?
