Great day at the park. I was off my meds so I was able to fly for once. Chad was there and looking good. At least good enough to take the leap for a spin. Took some video of the field, but come to find out the camera only had enough volts to show me turning it on lol! Last pic is of the damage the dam cat did!

Have fun while it last!

Hey fellow pilots. Just tossing this out there to see what might be available. Swapping a 450 flybar heli to a FBL and just seeing if anyone had some spare parts they might want to get rid of. Thanks in advance all and happy flying.

Did you get the kit already? Sorry I didn't call!

Most people are going with 6 cell. It is easier on the packs and give more performance or a little more flying time. You can get a great YEP 40 amp speed control for little money with a great gov. You don't have to get the programmer because I have one.

The only reason for not going 6 cell is if you have a bunch of 3 cell sitting around. lol!

The one thing to look out for is cheap motors. My first was a Tarot that clammed 1700KV well I tell you what I put it at 100% and it broke one of the tail screws and it sounded like it was running at +4000. So if you do go 6 cell get a quality motor. I have found going cheap not to skip on the motor. On my new X3 I am using the Align Dominator. It is high quality, but at a price we can afford.

Have fun while it last!

Fun Fly and Open House at Minor Park
Just wanted to remind you guys that we will be having our first Fun Fly and Open House on April 18th at Minor Park. There is no landing fee and plenty of food and cold drinks. All breeds of helicopters are welcome. If we have enough scale helicopters, we will designate an area specific for them to fly. We hope that as many KC Heli members can join us as possible. Good Flying!

Had planed on coming, but the wife got home from work at 8am and had just gotten out of a ticket for expired tags. Spend the day finding a inspection station and then fixing a tie rod.

Have fun while it last!
