Sorry to hear you missed the group, they went to the other field to do some flying. We'll start post here and our website at which field you'll find us flying.

I didnt go myself, stayed home to work on some projects and make room for a new one.

Are your or any of your members going to join us at Foxwood Springs in Raymore for a fun fly? Or indoor show-and-tell if it rains? See Dodge's post on the Official Eagles Associates RC Heli Club postings for details. I think HeliMike is planning on attending.

Enjoyed some time hanging with Eagles at thier gathering then headed to Longview to see what was shakin' at the home field.

What did I find........

.......some guys out flying

Some new guys came out for help with thier machines as well as some of the veterens doing thier thing. It was definately a good day of flying.

Just wanted to stop by and say "Thanks!" to Chris J and Mike for taking the time to drop in on our little event at Foxwood Springs over this past weekend. It's good to see some friendly interaction between our groups and I hope that trend continues through the year.

I haven't posted my photos yet, but I'm hoping to get to that before the week is out. (Busy busy!)

Thanks again, guys! Happy Flying!

Ah, yes, D.Magee! I was going to mention Fred's name as well. Sorry Fred! (My mind is not what it used to be, I'm tellin' ya...)

It was cool to see the gas-powered Raptor that he brought out and I was surprised at how well it performed. Good times!

Gasser? Wow, wish I had been there. I have yet to see my first gas powered helicopter. I was beginning to think that Nitro and Electric were the only two power sources.

Thanks for the Raptor compliments. That gasser just might be my favorite, but then again. They are all fun. If I could only keep one it would be a mighty tough decision.
It was good flying with you guys again. I hope we do more of it soon.

Sunday was a rain out. We huddled under the shelter waiting for the rain to stop. Nope, the hail was fun to watch. It was a good time for setup of the new guys heli's.

Tony's Cobra
Tony,

Nice to meet you today at your field, with the Boy Scouts. Went to Youtube like you suggested and viewed the movies of your Hirobo Super Cobra. Wow, what a machine. I can't wait to see and hear it in person. Thanks for bringing your good looking machines to the field.

Thanks
Thanks for all your help and support with the Boy Scouts Sat. we all had a great time.I know the kids and grown~ups did. Your club has some great Helis. All I was hearing was wow wow wow. I know A lot of work was spent on them. Looks like a Mini Real one for sure. Ken or GI Joe would be so lucky to fly in one.
Always great to get together with friends.
you can`t fly if you don`t try!

Sorry I missed the meeting today guys.
I went to the airshow at Whiteman. The only helicopter they had in the air was a Russian warbird. 13 ton helicopter
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mil_Mi-24
Wikidepedia says 10.5 tons. At the airshow they said 13,and the cockpit is bullet proof to 50 cal. Whatever,it's a big warbird
These guys were there too.
http://www.teamaerostar.com/
If you click on cinema, they got some kool videos.
They were awesome in my book.

Wasn't a big airshow. But neither is the price.
