How many want a beautiful video game? How many want a precise learning tool with accurate physics? I vote for the later, and then take the new skills to the field for the prettiest graphics of all._Sam B_

Thank you I couldn't have said it better myself. I know it takes time to learn how to adjust the settings but the end result is the best there is available right now.

+1 for RealFlight5.5 having the best physics between RF and Phoenix. I wouldn't mind trying Aerofly if the physics are as good as the graphics look. I actually bought Phoenix to try myself. RF is much more realistic. If you are just learning hovering, you probably wouldn't notice the different though.

That is true, you need to 3D a little to be able to tell the difference, I too had phoenix and after moding my model, I could get it fly react to certain maneuvers very realistically but then other moves were terrible then and viceversa.

Regarding differences between RF5.x and Phoenix I've flown both and experience a driftiness that is very annoying - a part of physics that does not happen in real life (for me anyway). I wish there was a "drift" slider bar. If AeroFly has less driftiness or eliminated it completely in addition to its beauty I would be impressed. But I've learned to lower my expectations with simulators and understand they are merely conceptual learning tools and once you learn the maneuvers you want just take them live to the field and polish them there. Some think I take the sim too seriously but I view it as thousands of dollars saved in potential crashes if I can master fundamentals and most of the precision what ever maneuver I desire. It's likely that your heli at the field will be easier to fly the maneuver too! Sorry for being long winded._Sam B_

Sam, there most certainly is a "drift slider" in Phoenix.
It's called Tail Wash Tuning. Check it out.

I like Phoenix so much that when I misplaced my dongle cable, I bought another copy of Phoenix.
