Orlando is not so bad. I spent 16 years there including high school and college. You will find many fellow RC heli enthusiasts there. And, you get to fly all year long!!!

WoH, I think I got all interactions out of my heli. Went back to 17mm on servo arms and made many adjustments in the CGY750. Biggest fix came from changing the 750's I Gain values for both Aileron and Elevator from 30 to 60. No more non-axial rolls and eccentric looking flips. Piro-flips stayed in one place.

The ElyQ was like a beast off the leash today! The YS56 was ripping up the sky. I think it might spank my T-rex 700N right now. I'm going to change back to 20mm arm positions tomorrow and see if it is better or worse. Then I'm done tweaking.

I flew some SWE 630's on a Raptor today. SWE are very good blades. Great quality and they fly very predictably. They are rather expensive compared to other blades from what I recall.

I put a can of woopa$$ on my ElyQ today. This thing is unbelievable with FBL. Got the Futaba CGY750 dialed in!!!!

This is the MOST fun I've ever had with a nitro bird!

Well let me tell you the NOVAROSSI is not a direct fit whatso ever. My team mate jamie gave me some tips. You have to dremel the frame. alot. and the carbon plate on the bottom this motor is huge. LOL novas made in italt too and my heli!!! I will get some pictures up soon

±13.5° collective, ±10° cyclic. I still have the servo arm balls at 17mm. I probably should just leave it as is and not go back to 20mm, but I just have to tinker.

If anyone else uses the Futaba CGY750 on this bird, I can give you the setup parameters. The ElyQ and 750 seem to be a very good match.

Flew the NOVA today for 3 flights things a beast sounds like the heli gonna fall apart the blades have to be swinging so fast like 2200 it peaks at 18500 on the motor unlike 17500 on most others. Anyway i have no idea how to tune a 3 needle carb i tried to go by the manual and i ended up with the mid totally closed for a correct temp and i know that cant be right. Still got some power though but not max i need to learn to tune the thing. But i didnt run it hot once which is good.

FYI, the easiest way to burn up a 3 needle engine is to have the mid needle too lean! The mid is critical when coming out of high load maneuvers to keep the engine from overspeeding and running lean. Set the mid in a hover with good smoke trail and good transition from idle to hover. Then set the high by doing full pitch climb-outs. Throw that damn temp gun in the trash! It is usless for tuning RC heli engines.

Ive read about the be carefull with mid. So i will just go back to factory which was fine and then just tune the high? and tune the mid without the gov on right? No way im throwing the tmp gun in the trash I did nothing but burn up motors before i got this baby its gold to me.

Yeah, always tune without governor. The NR high is pretty insensitive. Most of the adjustments will be low and mid. Once these are right, the high can be leaned, but you may find factory position is good on high.

What shims and nitro percentage are you using?

30% and the two big shims as per manual. So low just for a good idle then mid good transition from low to hover then high???

right now im

low 3/4
mid 1
high 1 1/2

and it wasnt running hot what so ever lots of smoke but still didnt seem to have the power i was exspecting. But im not running the 2200 headspeed as it should like 2070

18500/8.72=2121

so i would like to run like 2200
