Well, last night I went thru the last of the packages that I hadn't opened. Here is what I found;
beautiful three bladed tail rotor system

The cabin is huge. One thing I noticed is that with the Vario Cabin some folks were reinforcing them with rods on the inside due to the fiberglass being thin and flexing. NOT with this cabin. it is thick, sturdy, and very nicely built. I also found they included a template for rivets.

Very cool Roy! This bad boy should go together in no time flat. Is the glazing already pre-fit too, or do you have to cut it to fit? Get ahold of Rick (R.J.) for pics of his cool lipo mount for this airframe. It mounts the lipos out of sight under the airframe. Maybe he'll send you pics. I borrowed/stole his basic idea and machined something similar for my Schweizer 300.

Hi Roy,

Congratulations on your new heli! The metal strip with the holes is to fasten the windshield glazing in the midline. After you fit the clear plastic, you drill through the center strip through the windshield into the cabin frame and screw the metal strip to the cabin with the windscreen in between.

PM your email and I'll send some other instructions I wrote for the Starwood Electric Lama.

Regards,
Rick

Thanks Dr. Tim!

I went online but the only instructions I found say they're for the turbine version. But I believe they will translate over easily.

I will start assembling this baby this weekend

Here's a few pics of mine. It's already flown and now I'm working on finishing items. I copied RJ's battery mounting system and added a system for remotely arming the lipos.
