Hey guys and girls. I have recently redone a trex600e. I converted it to flybarless and replaced all the electronics. Check this post for how it was when i got it. [url=http://rc.runryder.com/t626346p1/] I redone it for a friend. When i started putting the servos in i noticed that i could hook the servos up directly to the swash with no modifications. This made it a lot simpler and looks awesome. Check out the picture with all the things that i removed. Any questions just ask.

I havent flown it yet. I still have to program the vbar. I imagine you probally wont know the difference. I got the idea from my logo 600 that i own. It is direct servo to swash. I will let you know when i fly it this weekend.

i used 19mm spacing. i used this number because that was the closes to parallel i could get the linkages without cutting the frame. The 2 aieleron linkages are not perfectly parallel to the main shaft but are close. What could make it perfect would be to dremmel 3 mm of the frame out to slide the servos back and that would fix it.

Some people are using 550E frame sides to get rid of weight and raise the cg.

Really works well

To whyfly

Nothing wrong with the old setup, but why have to measue 10 different rods when i can only adjust 3. It is a whole lot simpler and looks better.

Hi THEBUILDER I am frustrated with the Align ball link setup. I am building a TRex 600 CF and converting it to VBar FBL. I have bought and tried many different servo horns. I still do not have it finished. I was waiting for more new servo wheels I can set to 19mm ball to ball. I am interested how this works and what servo arms to use. I want a simpler setup. Thank you Ken

What tweakers do best is steal your power tools out of your garage to buy meth.

Is it possible by doing this you are increasing servo loading causing increased wear on the bearings? Polo

Im not sure. But lots of companies sell kits that are direct servo to swash. I have a logo 600 with direct servo to swash, and it has around 200 flights on it, and no slop in the gears or nothing.
