Hi all, I have a question relating to parallel charging.I have a 24v supply and an I-charger 3010, I am charging up to 6 x 3300ma lipo packs at once. Now the charger has a setting regulating a set mah input before cut off, the default is 5000ma. Once this is exceeded charging stops but the packs are not fully charged. The charger allows this mah setting to be increased to 10000mah but this will also lead to shutting down before the completed charge. How are other dealing with this, I can and have just started the charge cycle again and this allows the packs to be fully charged, but I am wondering if there is another way around this to complete the full charged in one go rather than having to reset the charge. Obviously I can reduce the number of packs, but this defeats the purpose of parallel charging, look forward to your replies,

Cheers KeV

You can set it to not have a limit, this will solve your issue. Also disable the time limit.

You should be able to set the capacity beyond 10000mah. I have the capacity set at 18000mah on my 3010 for parallel charging 4x 6S 4000 packs.

Hi guys,
I have been out of flying for a few years and getting back into it. A quick question about parrallel charging. Is this just a matter of making up a multi output cable so you can connect say 2 0r 3 packs to youe charger? What do you do to set up your charger to 6600 mha for say for 3 x 3S 2200mAh 30C packs.
Also can you cycle your batteries in Parrallel or would you do that one at a time?

If... she... weighs...the same as a duck,... she's made of wood And therefore? A witch!
