agreed, don't bite off too much all at once. In fact I'd run the motor for 2-3 gallons before fitting the FBL electronics. The motor will change the way it runs as it breaks in and if there are gonna be air leaks they'll show up.

looks like several of the current crop of FBL systems react badly to heavy vibration. Have to wait to see if the Futaba 750 does any better. Their gyros don't seen to care as long as they are mounted properly.

I wonder how a BeastX would do on a gasser. It seems to be very tolerant of vibration.

I have 3 gassers that are FBL. Two of them have the mb and one has the hc3sx helicommand. All three work REAL well with the gassers. With that said, all three helis are silky smooth with no VISABLE vibes.

To OP, if you have plenty of gasser experience as far as tuning the engine, it can be built as fbl, my last one was with zero problems. But if not sure, definetly build it fb until you get the engine dialed in.

hmm.
Its up to you. If its your first fbl system, and gasser maybe not. I am not seeing all of this talk about vibrations either. You might have known someone with issues, but is it really the fbl system..honostly? No issue on 5.0 vbar. Love the tail on it. What would the 750 fut have that would make me run to get it? If mounting is the same the pid in the software will have to be pretty fancy.
