Is there a way I can find out if my computer has a key logger installed without my knowing about it?
Thanks

check your task manager or services to see if it's running. Also, check the installed programs list.

what makes you think a keylogger is installed?

Good key loggers wont show up in either place. They will run as a background service and you will never see them, especially if you dont know what you are looking for. Download Free Dr Web and run it, it doesnt require and install as its a standalone scanner. After it runs the first time do a second complete scan. Its the absolute best thing I have found for trojans and rootkits.

don't know where you came up with DrWeb site, but it sure works. Took all day to do my computer but it found a Trojan that none of the other top programs have found, even used Malwarebites with no luck.

Hahaha. Thats my answer to everyone that asks me about computer viruses.

Honestly I dont remember how I found it, but I have been using it for years. It has found trojans that none of the big AV softwares would detect. I have had computers that were so bad I had to run 2 or 3 full scans with Dr Web, but it would always clean them completely after it was finished. One great thing about it since its a standalone executable is you can run it in safe mode if the pc is in really bad shape.
