As the title says 3.0P is now available

If it cannot fly on it's own, then I won't be much help....

3.0P and inverted flight
I recently upgraded from 2.x (forget exactly which version 2) to 3.0P. I now see that in inverted flight, (with idle up) even with the collective all the way down, the heli will barely hover, and will slowly sink to the ground.

My transmitter is a DX6i and model selected in Phoenix is Blade400.
I've checked my pitch curves in both normal and idle up, and don't see a problem there. I recalibrated my transmitter and still the same problem. Didn't see this issue with 2.x.

I usually run with the window that shows the pitch. You probably aren't running with full positive and negative pitch. I don't recall if the b400 has an advanced version of the model so you may have edit the model and rotate the dial to advance. This will give you full positive and negative pitch throws.

Yep, I was using the "default" variant of the B400 instead of the "3D" variant, which fixed the problem. Thanks!

You should be able to veiw what the up date files are and select the files you want to install. The last update of 2.5 was the 2.5v before it went to 3.0

So how did you guys like 3.0? mixed reviews here...

Is it worthwhile updating?

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

Well all I can give is my opinion and here it is, phoenix 2.5 I liked very much the issues I had with it was it seemed to be a bit of a hog on my CPU the models were overpowered so they didn't seem to bog down when loaded but they flew great and the online experience was well unpredictable some days good and some days not, now when I updated to 3.0m the models felt a bit more realistic to me as for the other issues they were still there and my CPU was working at near 100% killing my system a few bugs that needed to be fixed and with the 3.0p update they did it for me, now my cpu works at under 25% usage my online experience is much enjoyable and my fps have doubled. now part of the problem was you would turn on phoenix and there would be two or there session running in the background and although you turned it off it did not do so for the others that were running that was the main issue people were having but was not aware of. Now everyone has their preference I'd recommend that you copy your files and make a duplicate folder updated the duplicate and see if you like it this way you still have the 2.5v intact as you had it if you should deside you don't like the 3.0p. I hope this helps you to deside again everyone perspective of things are different.
