GUYS,

Which system do yall recomend. I gave up my CGY750. I have way to much vested in spectrum/jr. anything other than CGY750? As always thanks for the advice.

Best,
Kevin

Take a look at the .....

Helicommand / Captron HC3SX - very good system

You have the ability to plug your satelites directly into the unit.

you have too much invested in Spektrum to use GY750??

Makes no sense, as the 750 will have a Spektrum adapter available.

Each to their own, just your reason seemed off to me is all.

For the love of the hobby

If you want to use all the functionality of the 750, you need Futaba Faast tx. I think does not want to switch to the Futaba tx in order to use all the functions available.

I've only tried the 3G, V-Bar and Total-G. For me V-Bar suits my needs the best.

I have flown the 3G, SK360, SK720 and Total G.
My favorite is Total G simply for the fantastic tail feel.

HC3-Xbase
HeliCommand HC3-XBase will be approx $250. This system will have all of the performance of the HC3-Xtreme system at a very fair price.

What 750 functionality do you lose when using Spektrum?

Supposedly the ability to change some flight characteristics via the tx in flight. Also with an adapter of some sort in line, I am sure that will increase the latency between the Spektrum rxs and the 750. I guess we will see

Sure, with another brand TX you will not have the ability to change certain options like a Futaba TX would offer. However that doesn't mean you are missing out on any features of the product. It's all available via the LCD screen of the controller onboard your helicopter.

Keep in mind 100% of the programming of the CGY750 happens on the onboard controller, no PC or external programmer needed.

Speculation makes the world go around Your statement let me to believe that you knew something was lost when using Spektrum.
The only thing you can change from the transmitter is the three gains.

No speculation if it is true so instead of changing the gains in flight (a big selling point) you have to land and change it like every other system.....unless you have a Futaba Faast tx.

Really? You cant assign 3 channels on your Spektrum radio to control the gains? One of them being the current gyro control channel?

I honestly don't know. I haven't seen the interface.

So you were flying, and looked down at your TX screen to change settings while you were flying?

On a gain adjusting flight before I take off I'll highlight the field I want to change and then use the wheel in flight. Simple enough right?
I wouldnt recommend looking down at your tx

You can do the same with a Sk720, highlight the parameter and dial it up or down in flight
