Anybody aware of any good inertial navigational systems? Something that can get a walking person from a known point A to point B,C,D, etc.? (non-GPS system)

A smartphone app would be perfect!

I don't know of any commercial units in production.
DARPA has some prototypes for soldiers that fit in a bootheel but even they need periodic external (GPS/Known Location/Sextant) updates.

Inertial precision degrades over time that's why they are updated/crosschecked with GPS or recentered on a known landmark. Even the million dollar Ring Laser Gyro Inertials in aircraft drift miles in an hour.
