I know it's my own fault as the product description clearly says what I was getting, but still slightly maddening none the less.

Ordered some Zippy batts (800mah 20c) for my Trex250. Why in the world would they ship those out with only 2pin JST connectors? Aren't those rated for only about five amps? To me, that just doesn't make sense. Heck, even in a foamy, it would still pull more current than those connectors could handle wouldn't it?

Sorry for the rant. Now time to brush up on my EC3 soldering skills.

I use the 2 pin JST connectors in my 250SE with no problems. I use the Align and Outrage batts, Align ESC, and Scorpion motor.

That's exactly what I used on my Trex 250 with 980mAh 40C 3S packs.

What's the problem?

I literally never use the word literally right.

That would be the same connector installed on the ESC that ships with the Trex 250. Those evil batteries you bought will be plug and play, unless you lopped off the matching connector on the ESC.

Works fine. Less filling.

Well, luckily I haven't lobbed those off yet Dave. If you guys say so, I'll leave them be. Just doesn't seem like they could handle the current but I guess so.

Thanks guys for the reassurance and saving me lots of solder time!
