Got a used 9303, awesome. I have done the search, and understand most of the process of setting up the Align gov through the gov section of the 9303. My understanding is Normal is set to 0, the gov is off. ST-1 is set to say 70% as example. For ST-2, do I go say 80%, or do I do it like I had it on the DX-7 and only use say 10% so it totals say 80%? The reason I ask is after doing searches and all that last year when I first got the Align gov and set it up through my DX-7 I ended up frying my engine. It took some experimenting after the engine rebuild to get it to work properly and my settings ended up nothing like any others I had seen given as examples. Who knows what went on with that.
I just need to know that if I do say N: 0%, ST-1 70%, ST-2 80% as an example it isn't adding 80% to the 70% and frying my engine like last year.
What I have done for cautions sake is set it at N: 0%, ST-1 at 60%, adjust up, then on ST-2 at 10% and just increase it until it is at the headspeed I am looking for. Yes, I am paranoid. And yes, I have calibrated the throttle, ensured that the throttle endpoints are at or close to 100 and the light is red on N and goes green on ST 1. What is interesting is that on ST-2 the light goes green from around 9% on, which is why I am worried that ST-2 percentage is being added on to ST-1.
Hope this wasn't too confusing.
