I am converting my 700N to a flybarless heli using a 3G head. I noticed on my 700E 3G uses a shorter mainshaft part 700FL, so I fitted one to my 700N and it fits, but the bearing blocks are different on the 700N, so I measured the spacing and they are both the same, about 19mm at mid stick.

Has anyone else tried this? and if so how did it work out? I am guessing it should work fine with the spacing being the same.

you can also go to aligns site and they will tell you what heli each part is for. With the main shaft they show for 700e and 700n.
