I have two G20's and the first one went together without a hitch. The second one has driven me crazy figuring out why the start shaft will not turn freely 360 degrees? I have tried every possible sequence of tightening engine and clutch bell mounting hardware. I have replaced the spacers for the clutch bell mount with the longer ones. Replaced the clutch with the new larger one. Replaced start shaft also. What is odd is that the start shaft will turn freely about 180 degrees then start dragging? Comon sense says that if the start shaft was not straight it would drag 360 degrees all the time.
Has anyone else encounered this? If there was runout in the engine crank or clutch shoe it should drag all the time, correct?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
