es1co2bar3,
It was the canopy for sure.If you pause the video in the right spot at 3:09,you'll see the canopy flew off and went into the main blades..

Yup,the canopy for sure did the damage.I kept trying to pause it in the right spots at 3:09 .First you can see the canopy come off into the main blades,2nd you can csee the canopy fly up and to the left and the main blade that was on the bottom flew to the right..

you are now 872 person say the canopy came off and hit the blade i want to believe that what happen i was saying the align blade was bad b-cause a piece was still in the blade grip brake off from where the screw hole is.yea LONR it nice when you put th pieces together i record all most every flight from the first one; this is to give pilot some confident that they will get good but not as soon as they first pick up a radio

i am working on some new stunt never seen before in 3d i will be posting the 2nd edition for set maneuver and these will be my signature stunt

if you pause it at 3.09 you can clearly see the canopy quite a distance from the heli in mid air-not ideal that!

cheers

Yep definitely the canopy. Im looking at it right now Ive got it paused perfectly. It looks as if it just popped off and hit the blades. But yea it definitely came off.

I would look at the boom for a boom strike because to me it looks like just before the canopy comes off the blade hits the boom as you were flipping over.
Hey Lon, can you get it just before the failure. I dont doubt the canopy but if he bogged the head as it sounded like it did a little during the flip, then would it be possible that if the blades were loose it hit the boom first?

Sweet, Maybe Ol Blue can clue us in on what really happened. How are you liking it down there. I thought I heard Aaron say you moved down south. I could be wrong though.
