This thing is kinda cool in a geeky sort of way Reminds of world war 1 field motorbikes. Anyone got a Whizzer or maybe even a bicycle with an engine---homemade or whatever ?

I've wanted one for along time. I used to collect vintage bikes. I had a bike with a 3.5 hp go cart motor mounted on the back with a drive roller that rested on the wheel. It ate tires every few weeks. I also had a 1960s bosch motor made for a bicycle that was belt drive, I put it on a 1938 aluminum frame monarch. Wish I would of keep it.

Pretty cool, and sounds better than some V-twins I have heard. I remember wanting a Whizzer back when I was really into cycling, just to have.

A friend and I bought a beatup Whizzer back in the 50's. Got it running but like to killed ourselves, no brakes worth a darn (Our fault, who needed them when your 12).
Also no chain guards or exhaust manafold, no muffler. Our compression release was a wire bent so you could pull on it.
We let a wild kid ride it and he took it down a long hill at top speed, went off the road, hit a tree and bent wheels and frame so bad it wasn't repairable (at lest by 12 year olds). Yeah, the wild kid was alright, scratches and bruises, but he had bragging rights as the fastest kid in our town.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
