I have been flying mine indoors and just about have all the kinks worked out of it. The motor wires have been bothering me though. There is just about only one way to install the motor and the wires get crushed into the carbon frame. I put some elec. tape over them and have been using it, but everytime I fly, I think about it. Anybody have this issue and how do you deal with it?

not really anything you can do they just come out of the motor in a bad spot.

i put a Hyperion -8 in mine and it seems like they at least go straight out the back.

Who cares... its just money...

I assume it is not a good idea to grind a divot in the frame?

no don't mess up your frames.

i just looked at mine. what i have done is i don't put the motor in straight. i filed out the motor mount so that it would fit larger screws. so now i can kind of twist the motor just enough that they go where i want them.

i just rebuilt my 450pro and i still can't figure out where my crazy vibrations are coming from. im about ready to replace the whole tail section its been haunting me for months now. oh how i miss doing funnels with my 450.

Getting off topic, but what's vibrating? I had a nasty vibration that was causing my boom supports to buzz. After I changed almost everything I could think of it turned out to be 2 pairs of out of balance brand new tail blades.

I'm sure you guys know more than me, but my 450 vibrated as well when I built it. I increased the head speed and that solved it. Not sue of the head speed as I don't have a guage. Had a training gear on it the shook really bad at hover, but now it is solid.

im going to go check if its the tail blades but i think it is the ebay gears i have on the tail right. the bearings are not even in that bad of shape.

i'll go balance my whole tail assembly. i would be so happy if that was it. been fighting this for at least 4 months

balanced the tail changed the bearings and removed the kde grip mod back to stock links and still has a problem.

im really betting its the crap gears but will have to wait and see. i may change the main shaft just to check even though it is brand new.

anyway back on topic did you get your wiring situation all figured out?

i just put an ar8000 RX in mine and let me tell you it was a tight fit but we got it all in there now and she looks pretty good.

now i need to come up with some cash and get the little flyby telemetry unit for it. i figure it will work all the time since the 450 pro stays in pretty close all the time.
