Today my 600 Nitro didn't start. I tried several times with no avail. Then realized I am getting only one green light on the 2in1 control box. So the plug was gone. I replaced it and with a good confidence, I tried to start the engine. It didn't start again. I tired 4-5 times and then removed the canopy (my 2 in 1 is covered by the canopy)
So when I push the ignition button, all 3 lights (the red, the orange and the green) flickers for a split second then they all go off.

I first thought the lipo pack voltage was too low and the system cannot light the glow plug. The pack was showing 7.67volts. Not full but definitely not dead either. It should have enough juice to make one more flight easily. I used another battery but didn't make any difference. Still flickering lights and no ignition.

Came home to read the instruction manual. The manual doesn't mention anything about this. It talked about shorting out and when that happens, the red light should come on and then go off.

So I heard weird things about 2in1 but they were all about the tiny switch problems. My switch is working fine. Battery monitor is working fine (showing all 5 leds when the pack is full).

I wonder what this issue is. Anybody had the same issue?

BTW I wiggled the alligator clip that goes to plug and managed to make it work but it works randomly. It sometimes work sometimes doesn't. And I checked the solder in a,igator clip is okay.

Well we figured it out today at the field. There was nothing wrong with the 2in1. My apologizes... It was my glow plug; it was shorting and causing the circuit board to switch off. The plug wasn't brandnew but it was a working plug. I tested the plug with a glow battery and it was glowing fine. Obviously glow battery doesn't detect any shorthing but the 2in1's circuit does. I guess the reason why the 3 ignition leds were flickering instead of the bottom red led (short indicator) coming on solid was because it was a very intermitent short. Normally if the system is shorted out (like alligator clips contacting the engine body), the bottom red led comes on solid for a second then it goes off.

Anyways a brandnew plug fixed all that up. The system is up and running now...
