Is MA4864 the latest version of the Proflex one-way starter extension?

I have the older non-servicable version, but don't have a part no. for new one.

The lot I got is not a lot, but I thank God a lot for the lot I got!

The new part number is MA3600-02. They changed part numbers some years back the new one you can replace the one way bearing which is readily availiable its an HF612. The housing has a brass spacer on either side of the bearing for alignment. I have replaced it in my Proflex and a teammates. The housing is reversed threaded. Go here and you can find it as well as other shop, but this is my prefered vendor. http://www.ronlund.com

The HF612 is the bearing number, not a MA number. Also, in the newer versions, there are actually two shorter bearings in the flexstart. The original had one long bearing. The shorter bearings are only about 10mm long. Key point to remember is let the flexstart/starter stop spinning before you remove it from the start shaft.

Good to know. I have one of lthe new Proshafts, I did'nt know they had upgrade to provide more bearing area by going to the two bearing system. I know from expericnce the HF612 bearings are readily availiable. I have them in my buggy pull starters, the Furion 450 auto hub also (MA13-069)and on Ron's website he has no less than 4-6 different offerings from $4 to $22 depending on the vendor.
