If I had the right parts, I could build a helicopter with two servos, and no tail rotor, but I would add a Ducted Fan, and a rudder.

1 Servo for Aileron.
1 Servo for rudder,behind the ducted fan.
Ducked Fan w/esc provides Propulsion
Main Rotor for Lift w/esc, and aileron.

Ducked Fan....quack quack!!!
