I bought from Tower Hobbies a E325 setup that had the gyro with it.

I'm confused as the instructions say to hook up the gyro/mixer to your receiver but there is only one lead from each end to the reciever that I have. Is that supposed to be right or am I just supposed to set up the tail/gyro servo leads?

Also, can I just hook up the gyro/tail unit and direct lead the cyclic servos to my system? It talks about simple radios but I have a 2.4 7C that has those parameters in it.

Lastly, since this is my first eletric, how do I work the servos for the tail and cylic without having to hook the LiPo in or do I have to charge it up? (side note, when do I set up the esc?, is that why I program throttle hold first?)

I use a 4.8 volt for setting up the heli too. You can spin the main blades with it tho, atleast I managed to do that with TT ESC connected. Gave it some throttle and blades started turning, didn't dare to try again tho

Well I saw in the instructions to move the motor mount away from the main gears to keep the blades form spinning.

But I've never seen a system set up where there is only one lead into the receiver. I have a Futaba 7c that has the swashplate setting in the TX but figured I'ld try to trust the TT Mixer/gyro.

Will try a regular 4v till the wind quits and then charge the lipo up and try her out.

I got the Cobra body for it and am chomping at the bit to get it flying though the weather says no.
