Anyone had any success removing the one way bearing from the N5 auto hub unit???

I'm guessing some heat will be needed to remove one or both the bronze bushings encasing the bearing.

Thanks

Steve

I didnt have much trouble getting mine out, I used a small screwdriver inserted through the one way to push the bronze bushing out the other side. Flipped it over and did the other one, no heat required. The one way is another story. No amount of heat will free that thing up. I ended up having to use an arbor press like shown on Matt's site mattbotos.com

The Arbor Press is the best to get it out

The small screwdriver did the trick to remove the bronze bushings, I then made up a press using a bench vice to remove the oneway... Job done!

Many thanks
