Building a long ranger with trex 600n mechanics converted to electric and have a question. I want to keep the clutch but that limits my gearing to 8.5. I want to use an 8s battery and a scorpion 4025 motor. I was crunching some numbers in the castle link software and to get the headspeed I want with that gearing I would need the 630kv motor or I could go a little lower and use the 550kv. Will these motors work on 8s? Thanks

Yes, they will handle 8S. I'm doing the same as you, converting a 600N to electric. My aluminum is supposed to ready for me to pick up today so I hope to start the conversion tomorrow. Have you completed your conversion yet? I went with a 4025-630 on 6S, shooting for about 1500 HS.

Haven't started the conversion yet but it seems pretty straightforward. The next problem I have is flipping the clutch so I can run counter clockwise.
