Has anyone put a four blade head on a Trex500 without flybarless electronics? I have a scale fuse on mine and someone told me I can run a 4 blade head without flybarless electronics. I know I might need a 4 blade tail setup as well. Can this be done?

Yeah i can be done easily. I have a 4 bladed head i put on a 450 with no flybarless electronics. Its not that difficult to fly just make sure you have good servos (strong). They have a few weird tendencies in forward flight but nothing that is too much to handle. No need for a 4 blade tail unless you are going for a scale look. Just make sure you don't lower your head speed to much. I kept my head speed about the same as my 2 blade head but i put slightly longer tail blades on and it seems to work great. I have plenty of tail authority.
