I have the black vbar with 4.0 software and a 9 channel spectrum reciever. In step 4 of programing the vbar you have to get the swash plate moving in the right directions. I can get in going in the right directions for the exception of one of the 3 not moving correctly. Here is how i have my vbar and reciever wired. The patch cables go from the vbar to the reciever as followed- elevator to elevator, aierlon to aierlon, collective to aux 1, and rudder to rudder. Here is how the servos are plugged into the the vabr. Elevator servo plugged into channel 1,right servo plugged into channel 2, left servo plugged into channel 3.In the manual it tells you to plug the right servo into channel 3 and to plug the left servo into channel 2 but on the vbar setup page on the computer it is vise versa. I have tried both ways and no luck. This is being setup on a trex 700 and this is my 3rd vbar i have programmed. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

It may be as simple as going into the radio and reversing the one servo that isn't moving in the correct direction. Let me know if that fixes the problem.

Mojave. In step 2 you calibrate the transmitter for travel, servo centering and servo direction. They are all going the right direction. I can make the pitch opposite in step 2 and it works right but thats what your not supposed to do.

do NOT follow the manual for servo connection unless your swash looks like a logo!

In step SWASH you have a picture of the swash, there you see the channel numbers, thats your map.

You can check my v4 videos on my site (link in my tagline)

I have it hooked up like the diagram in step 4. I just cant get it to work. I have checked and re checked everything. Checked the preset and hole 9 yards. What i am beging to think is that one of the 3 swash servos has been programmed backwards from the factory. This wouldnt be a problem on a flybared helicopter. I am going to check to make sure that they all go the same direction when plugged into the reciever itself.

This is a new one to me.

Pm me and I will call you and walk you through this.

It really is very basic if you follow the v bar software step by step,

It will be easy to work this out via the phone as we can look at the program together and make sure each tab is correct before you move on to the next one.

On vaction this week so I can help you any time.

Maxturbine (Ralph) is the man with this stuff. I was in Florida for work and he talked me through a vbar issue over the phone.

Guys i figured it out. When i loaded the preset for a trex 700, in expert swash setup it had the collective reversed. All i had to do was put it to normal and it fixed my problem. Thanks to everyones input. Mojave you are right. Maxturbine was willing to call and help me while he was on vacation. We need more guys like him in the hobby.
