Wow...I was watching Robot Chicken last night and then a commercial for a 3 channel co-axial heli came on...it was for xheli! That really surprised me. Our humble hobby is gaining more and more steam!

Not really, those commercial tidbits have been aired many times over the past few years.

its still cool to see them on the television.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Say what you will, but Xheli has HUGE money. More money than most of the others combined. They have done a good job of marketing to the masses, and not to the small group of us.

Xheli has HUGE money
They need to buy common sense in their shipping and orders department.

Guys you are missing the point. So xheli's service or shipping might suck, but it also exposes people to other options beside the airhogs or two channel toys. I know a lot of the aircraft they sell might be crap, but they also have some hidden gems. Don't forget...that a lot of us started with cheapy helicopters and that sparked a flame in us to seek out better and higher performance machines.
I had not seen their commercials before and thought it neat that there is a heli company spending money for TV exposure, besides airhogs.

Agreed. When I first started, I got my first fixed-pitch 4-channel heli from Raidentech (remember them? lol). After being in the hobby for a little while, you start to learn what is good and what is not.

I just hope that the crappy crap they sell isn't enough to turn off someone who is unaware of better choices at the moment...

I agree with you there! If they have the true desire to continue they might seek out a LHS or start surfing the internet...and a heli pilot is born!

I love to see anything R/C on TV. American Chopper had an episode where Vinny was flying a plank.
