I know this is very basic, but here's my point.

The instructions for the Rave have you mount the ball and servo horn on the left side of the engine throttle at the engine. The servo horn and ball have to be on the right due to its location. Therefore, in this configuration, when the servo turns clockwise, the throttle is turning counterclockwise.

I always heard that this is a no-no.

I heard that due to the design and motion of a servo horn and rod, that is is best to ensure that your servo horn and what you are controlling (in this case the throttle), should both travel in the same direction.

This would mean putting the throttle horn and ball on the right side at the engine.

So what are you guys doing, and did you have any issues if placing it on the left side???

Thanks

Whichever side provides the most direct angle without binding or rubbing! Remember heli's want to have the least amount of deflection as possible on all control linkages even the throttle linkage.
