It is like the best secret in the world these things fly so level and then can change to a wild 3D machine with a flick of a switch. We loved them so much, we became the distributors for the south pacific region. I am hanging for the 50E this is going to be another Aeolus to my collection for sure and then the 90 machine down the track. As for head speed about 1950 idle up 1, 2050 idle up 2 is good place to start for some 3D depending on your collective management.

Love mine. When I had a OS 50 in mine I was running 1850 in Idle 1 and around 2100 in idle 2.

I put in a Rex 57 in mine this past summer now it has stupid power. Its next to impossible to bog the head. Also switched to Edge 603 blades wow what a difference. Just waiting for the 90 to come out.

jcoats-have you put the shim kit in? AHF sent out a shim kit to get rid of play in the gears cause people were complaining about it.

Where exactly do I put the shims? Its like the gear is moving forward out of the bearing.. I've adjusted the gear mesh and everything is great until I spool it up..hovers fine for about 5 seconds, then I hear the and feel the difference when the gear forces itself forward into the main gear....I never had this problem until I changed that gear..I should have left it alone, and I have seemed to have misplaced the original gear...

Just my luck

The shims go basically where ever you can use them. I put them in my tail mostly. try maybe flipping the bearings over so that the gear sits in them differently if you havent already. also try switching the bearings top/bottom. That gear should sort of click in and stay.If all else fails throw some super glue on the gear so it stays attatched to the bearing-worth a shot

Just flew it...flew awesome..

Then on second tank my tail servo went...maybe that was the culprit All along..I was able to auto it down with no damage..thank you lord. It was an old 9253 with a million flights on it.. time for an upgrade..any thoughts on a good tail servo?
