Hi,

I just started building my rave. Tail and head completed. Also installed the magnets on the clutch bell.
But now, I have some questions about mounting the sensor of my GV1 on the rave...

How can I do that ??
Has anyone some pics to share ?

Regards, Nicolas

PS : May be, I can switch the sensor the a spektrum sensor. But does it work on the governor ?

Thanks KingJoe for the links.
But I knew these ones !
They talk about total-G or spektrum, and not of Futaba sensor, which is quite different.

That's why I asked the question.

Any help appreciated.

Regards, Nicolas

I am sorry, yes it has a different signal, I am not sure, you might want to contact Curtis, or just use the governer that is in the Total G.

kawaznic,

Your sensor for the GV1 can mount close to the same way as the Total-G sensor.

It's the principal of how it can be mounted.

I could not get the GV1 sensor to mount on the clutch stack without removing the sensor from the plastic sensor casing. Once it was removed I was able to mount it just like the picture in the previous post. I was concerned about the sensor failing but so far it is holding up after thirty flights.

Here is how the gv1 sensor is mounted on my rave.
Works fine with 97% on sensor's reader !
